MIA GST Conference 2015

It's been a while since I've used my 85mm for events. So yesterday during this MIA conference, I took it out and gave it a good workout.

The lens almost wide open at f/1.6.

Using the lens at such a wide aperture increases the tendency for overexposure to occur, especially with JPEGs. I was on ISO 1250 but yet it makes this dark room appear so bright.

Head shots is where this lens shines.. Such a creamy background, even at f/2.

The 70-200 VR2 always gives the best sharpness even at maximum focal length. No regrets having this lens even though I also have the VR1
